The NO UP-SELLS, Exact Pricing, Carpet Cleaner!

You know how it goes: Your pet decides that your new carpet’s the perfect place to “go.” Or perhaps you walk into your bedroom and catch a whiff of something like ammonia, or worse.

You’re struck with visions of cleaning and cleaning but never getting rid of the stain and smell. And even if you do manage a thorough clean-up, you worry that your pet has developed a new bathroom habit that will be impossible to break. Don’t despair—we can help you solve this problem.

Cleaning

For “fresh” spots:

  • Soak up as much of the urine as possible with a combination of towels, wash cloths or paper towels. The more fresh urine you can remove before it dries, especially from carpet, the easier it will be for us to remove the odor. Fold the cloth a couple times, but still large enough to cover the affected area. Stand on this padding for about a minute. Remove the padding, and repeat the process until the area is barely damp.
  • If possible, put the fresh, urine-soaked towel(s) in the area where it belongs—your cat’s litter box or your dog’s designated outdoor “bathroom area.” This will help remind your pet that eliminating isn’t “bad behavior” as long as it’s done in the right place.
  • Rinse the “accident zone” thoroughly with clean, cool water. After rinsing, remove as much of the water as possible by blotting, this may be enough if you caught it early. If not then give us a call and we will clean the area and remove the odor.

For spots that have already dried or set:

  • Use a NON SOAPY, NON FOAMY carpet spot cleaner like Whoopsy Daisy Pet Stain Remover & Odor Eliminator. Using anything soapy will leave a sticky residue and eventually your carpet will look discolored, dark or dingy. If in doubt, do a SHAKE TEST. Shake up your potential spot cleaner and if you see it, hear it or feel it foam up, it is soapy.
  • We use an all natural, hospital grade, botanical disinfectant once the area is really clean.
  • We do not use a steam cleaner which can permanently set the stain and the odor by bonding the protein into any man-made fibers.
  • If urine has soaked down into the padding underneath your carpet. In some cases, you may need to remove and replace that portion of the carpet and padding.

OMG! Carpet Cleaning services does NOT charge extra for odor treatment. We also don’t guarantee odor treatment because we have no way of knowing if the urine made it into the backing and/or sub floor.

We don’t feel that pet owners should be “punished” just because some of your family members have more than two legs. Most of our clients that have pets DO NOT have an odor problem, however the ones that do shouldn’t have to pay extra.

Our clients, like most, LOVE their pets but don’t LOVE the “accidents.” Not only does OMG! NOT charge extra for pet odor, but we also DO NOT charge extra for pet spots. Again, we don’t think pet owners should get charged extra for loving their four-legged family members! Our EXACT PRICING QUOTE includes all spots and odor treatment if you need it.

Plus when you schedule a carpet cleaning, shouldn’t CLEANING BE INCLUDED? Most carpet cleaning companies charge extra for spots and/or heavily soiled areas. You scheduled a CLEANING, it shouldn’t cost EXTRA if it is DIRTY!
