Why doesn’t OMG! use a lot of water?
OMG! uses up to 80% less water than typical steam cleaning because of our NON-SOAPY, citrus based, oxygenated cleaner. This low water, low-pressure approach is healthier for you, your family, your pets, your carpets, and it allows your carpets to dry in only 1-2 hours, PLUS it is also more environmentally friendly!
Areas are bedrooms, sitting room, hallways, stairs (flight), dining room, living room, office, etc. If it counts as an area when you buy it, it counts as an area when we clean it. Our area sizes are based on 225 sq ft. If any of your areas are over 225 sq ft, it will LIKELY count as 2 areas.
How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
The EPA suggest that homeowners clean their carpets every 6-12 months. Cleaning more often is recommended in homes with kids, pets, or if someone in the home has asthma or allergies. Regular cleaning will not only improve your home’s appearance, but it will eliminate non-living allergens, improve your home’s indoor air quality, and extend the life of your carpeting.
How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
Typically 1-2 hours, although drying time depends on humidity levels, airflow to the areas cleaned, and the type of carpet. Generally, turning on your HVAC and fans will help accelerate dry times. Sometimes carpets can take longer to dry for various reasons.
Why does my carpet look really clean for a couple weeks then appear dingy?
Many carpet cleaners including steam cleaners use soapy detergents in their process. This can lead to carpets re-soiling quickly after being cleaned and often requires more frequent professional cleanings. OMG! uses a carpet and upholstery cleaning solution that doesn’t contain any soaps, detergents or harsh chemicals.
Can you get pet urine smell/odor out of my carpet?
Yes. Pet odors can linger on for months and months if not treated properly. When urine dries, what’s left is crystalized urine that become even more pungent. Many companies and products just mask this odor. OMG! uses a disinfectant to destroy the urine crystals and break down the enzymes which gets rid of the pet urine odor forever.

What is the difference between OMG! and Steam Cleaning?
Traditional steam cleaning saturates your carpet with A LOT of water filled with soaps and detergents. So you’re left with wet carpets for 1-2 days, which creates a breeding ground for mold, mildew and bacteria. Plus the soapy residue left behind attracts dirt and causes your carpets to get dirty much faster.
OMG’s process is different. We pretreat the carpet with our proprietary cleaner, using more on problematic, heavily soiled areas. Then we use a one hundred pound machine with a brush and bonnet, dirt-napper on it to scrub and agitate the carpet. We finish up with a dry vacuum.
